To understand my future, you need to know my past. Horticulture class in high school at The Stuart Career Center in Baytown, Texas. 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997.
My story
Back in 8th grade, I had a meeting with my teachers and parents about picking my classes for high school. I picked a cooking class, but everybody was against it.
My teacher: No, because they will always want our people to cook and clean. Go to horticulture.
My parents: That class is for girls, they clean and teach you how to sew and you already know how to cook. Go to horticulture.
They picked that class for me.
PLEASE see the videos at the end of these pictures to get the understanding that I didn't have until now at the age of 44.
