We Support Autism
April is autism awareness month! Some families celebrate, advocate & acknowledged autism everyday. My co-owner of DellaVid is autistic! Autism in our home is not once a year. It’s everyday. We celebrate the brilliant minds all over the world who are shaping the future. “Why fit in when you can stand out?” -Dr Seuss “Be the change you wish to see in this world.” -anonymous Let’s take the time to support those who feel they don’t fit in, those who can’t express themselves, those who are sensitively different, and those who have different perspectives. Let’s continue to advocate for those who can’t for themselves. I’m proud to be an autism mom. You do not know how different things look on the other side until you see it.
Autism awareness extends beyond April; it's a vital part of our everyday lives. Families around the world recognize the importance of advocacy and support 365 days a year. Autism is not just a label but a different way of perceiving and interacting with the world. Many individuals with autism possess extraordinary talents and insights, and it is essential to foster an environment that champions inclusivity. Living with autism can present unique challenges, but it also allows individuals to experience life in distinct ways. Being sensitive and different is a strength, not a weakness. It empowers those with autism to contribute to society with valuable perspectives and creativity. For families, understanding the nuances of autism can lead to deeper connections and a more supportive home environment. Let’s celebrate the journey of those with autism by advocating for their needs and rights, and encouraging acceptance within our communities. These efforts play a crucial role in dismantling stigma and building a more inclusive society.
