Spring 2026 Personal Curriculum

I haven’t seen as many posts this season on personal curriculums, but I’ve upgraded mine to go more in-depth this season, and I’m so excited!

I’ve been taking Udemy courses vs. watching shorter form YouTube videos, getting in-depth education almost like a college class would give.

This season, I chose to create a balance between consuming and creating since creativity is such a huge value of mine, and I also included the yoga transitions since I teach yoga as a job.

As far as a final project, I have not really come up with an idea especially since the video and yoga piece are both going towards my yoga videos for YouTube, so it will be a continuous evolution.

Would love to see what you guys are learning if you jump on this trend!

One highlight has been using Udemy courses for structured, college-level education in areas like Adobe Premiere Pro and World Literature, which truly allows for comprehensive study beyond casual video tutorials. Balancing creativity with consumption is key for me, especially as I integrate yoga teaching transitions into my content creation process for my YouTube channel. In my art practice, I’m wrapping up a couple of paint-by-numbers projects while exploring gouache techniques, which adds a fresh dimension to my skills. Alongside this, I’m delving into art history, spanning from the Renaissance to the 20th century, which enriches my artistic perspective and inspires my creative output. Incorporating subjects such as the history of African empires of biblical antiquity allows me to cultivate a broader cultural and historical understanding, which I find enhances both my teaching and personal growth. The continuous evolution of my yoga videos as a final project illustrates how personal curriculums can adapt organic goals and passions. I encourage anyone interested in self-study or independent learning to customize their curriculum like this. Creating a dynamic blend of structured courses and personal creative projects, while aligning with passions like teaching yoga, makes learning fulfilling and sustainable. Jumping on this trend of personal curriculums can lead to exciting, individualized educational journeys!
