On October 1st, the @TODAY Show is attempting to set a Guinness World Record for the most people to sign up for genetic screening in one hour, right in the heart of Rockefeller Plaza. 🏙️ This historic Pink Power Day kicks off Breast Cancer Awareness Month with a focus on the power of genetic testing.

I think this is such a creative media intervention and I’m all about finding ways to make genetic testing feel less intimidating. And the fact that Jill Martin is hosting, after sharing her own breast cancer journey, makes this moment even more powerful.

Partnering with JScreen, this event involves a medical grade hereditary cancer panel with genetic counselors available. This means it not just a test, but a bridge to real care.
