LOW CALORIE SNACKS 🍿

here are some of my favorite low calorie snacks i’ve been enjoying lately!

Although these aren’t the lowest calorie snacks out there, they’re still very tasty and have friendly macros, especially if you’re trying to cut down for the summer.

Most of these items can be found at Trader Joe’s and Target, except the Oxygreens can be found in the link in my bio!

Let me know if yall have any questions or if you want a part 3!!

We all want those healthy alternatives that don't compromise on taste or visual appeal. Based on what I’ve been loving lately, here's how you can elevate your snack game, making every bite count and look fabulous. First, let's talk about making your snacks *aesthetic*. It's not just about the food itself, but how you present it! For example, those simple naan dippers with hummus I mentioned (around 180 calories, 5g protein) can look gourmet with a sprinkle of paprika or fresh parsley. Arranging your food in small, pretty bowls or on a colorful plate makes a huge difference. Think about the vibrant colors of Tru Fru Parfait Poppers or blending your Dannon Light + Fit Zero Sugar Mango Pineapple shake (only 40 calories, 8g protein!) with some ice and fresh fruit for a smoothie-like treat. Even your daily Oxygreens can look appealing in a sleek glass with a reusable straw. It's all about making your healthy choices feel like a luxurious experience! Now, for those smart low-calorie snack alternatives that truly hit the spot. If you're craving something savory, ditch the high-calorie chips and grab a bag of LesserEvil Himalayan Pink Salt Popcorn – at just 50 calories per bag, it's a game-changer! For a protein boost that feels indulgent, Barebells protein bars (200 calories, 20g protein) are like a candy bar but packed with goodness. They're perfect when you need something substantial. Instead of heavy appetizers, try portioning out those delicious samosas with a dollop of tzatziki (190 calories, 5g protein for the serving I enjoy) for a flavorful, lighter option. And for a hearty, protein-rich bite, those chicken maple sausages (150 calories, 15g protein) are incredibly satisfying and a fantastic alternative to fattier breakfast meats. My secret for staying on track and enjoying my snacks is often about smart preparation and knowing where to find the best goodies. Many of my favorites, like the Tru Fru Poppers or other fresh alternatives, can be found readily at stores like Trader Joe's and Target, which makes healthy eating super convenient. Always check labels for macros – protein and fiber are your best friends for satiety. Don't be afraid to experiment with combining different low-calorie items to create new, exciting snack combinations. For instance, pairing a Dannon shake with a few Tru Fru Poppers can feel like a mini-dessert explosion. Remember, healthy eating doesn't have to be boring or restrictive; it's about making informed, delicious choices that make you feel good inside and out!
