GYM ANXIETY TIPS! to help you feel your BEST self

if you have gym anxiety and don’t know how to navigate those feelings with the gym I GOTCHU.

Here are my favorite gym anxiety tips to combat gym anxiety.

First: get a GOOD pair of noise canceling headphones. I find that having my favorite song blasting in my ears with noise cancellation helps me get in my own zone and makes me forget about the other people that are in the gym. It gets you HYPE and helps you focus on your own workout!!

Second: plan your ENTIRE workout ahead of time with equipment, time spent, etc. Going into the gym unsure about what you’re doing can be a recipe for having an anxious workout since you’re not prepared. Make sure to plan your entire workout, down to the machines you will be using, where you will be stretching, how long each workout will last, etc. Having a clear cut plan will make you feel more confident!

Third: remember nobody actually cares! Every single person in the gym has once stepped inside for the first time being a newcomer. Everyone knows the feeling and it isn’t unusual for people to come in with not much experience. Anyone who actually has a life is focused on their own workout and bettering them self, not focused on what a stranger is doing next to them.

Try these out and LMK what you think 🩵

Feels like something I’d do for a hot minute, then pretend I’ve been doing forever even if I totally forgot later.
