ADD THIS WORKOUT TO DEFINE UR QUADS💪🏽
although this may be an unpopular opinion, I LOVE bulgarian split squats!! They’re amazing for defining and growing your quads and are very beginner friendly as well if you’re new to the gym.
start off with two dumbbells, an elevated surface, and do 3 sets of 10!!
make sure to use muscle mind connection and push through your heel so you can target your glutes and quads.
add these to your next leg day and you won’t be disappointed!!

If you’re new to Bulgarian split squats, here are some tips I found really helpful. Using two dumbbells adds resistance that challenges your muscles more than bodyweight alone, helping with quad definition and strength. Elevate your rear foot on a stable surface like a bench or step—this increases the stretch in your glutes and quads, making the exercise more effective. I always remind myself to maintain proper form: keep your torso upright, engage your core, and focus on pushing through the heel of your front foot to target the quads and glutes rather than the toes. Wearing flexible shoes, or even going barefoot, can improve balance and feel more natural, as I learned from strength coaches. Progressive overload is key. Each week, try to slightly increase the weight of your dumbbells or add an extra rep. This keeps the muscles challenged and growing. Remember, form always beats heavier weights, so never sacrifice technique just to lift more. Lastly, add rest days and complementary stretches into your routine. Your muscles need recovery to grow and avoid injury. I like pairing these squats with leg stretches and foam rolling to soothe tightness. Incorporate the Bulgarian split squat into your regular leg day workout, and you’ll start noticing stronger, more defined quads in no time!
