j my opinion: call me a wet blanket …
u can call me a wet blanket or wtv but here’s rlly j my v honest thoughts after reading/ hearing so many people on this prog
🤔 claim that u will lose weight
💰 < $3000
I was reading this lemon8 girl documenting her weight loss journey and honestly I was having lots of mixed feelings
😌😌😌 happy for her 😌😌😌
— close to her desired weight
— shed off waist, hip, abdomen cm
but at the same time … 😕😕😕
i feel so stressful reading & also pondering if she …
— is enjoying the process
— feels controlled everywhere she goes
— feels stress weekly doing her measurements
— feels the need to compare herself and the “other success stories” in this prog
— most imptly, is it sustainable AFTER the 90 days
apart from these ^ I was also thinking,
what are the “weight” that she was losing
↳ fat loss? ↳ water loss? ↳ muscle loss?
or perhaps, a combination of all
————————————
dont get me wrong, I do feel happy for her seeing her progress
but … she is not celebrating her progress enough instead, stressing over the ultimate results at the end of 90 days, bringing up her cortisol level
————————————
to be fair, I did not go through the 90days program & perhaps u can call me a sour grape, hmm, for not willing to part my $$ to be on board 👀
‼️ but I almost did this program ‼️
so here’s a tldr of what the sales person pitch it to me:
❓ so what is this program ❓
✅ weight loss if you follow closely what u suppose to do
✅ zero exercise
✅ no rebound
what u are suppose to do:
(which didn’t sit well with me)
👀 replace 1 meal with protein shake (meal-replacement shakes) - NOT HSA/ FDA APPROVED!!!!!
👀 eat lesser
👀 cut carbs
👀 supplements (?) - can’t rmb it in his sales pitch
& I can’t believe he (as a former pt) said that that “exercise is optional” but if u want to shed more or look tone, “you can exercise”
I did not join the prog bcos,
1️⃣ I was pressured to the attend the sales pitch
2️⃣ it was too salesy
3️⃣ I’m a big believer of “there’s no shortcut”
☝ ️ anyway, this is a story for another day
————————————
do I know of people who successfully completed the prog❓
yes, after a long time of not seeing them, my first thought was
‼️ WOW ARE U OKAY ‼️
but of cos, I didn’t say that.
they (its a family) LOST A LOT of weight but it doesn’t look like a healthy weight loss - it’s a stick thin kind of weight loss, kinda scary imo, there’s
🥲 no glow
🥲 looks sick
🥲 looks fragile
& even after the 90 days, they are still skipping a meal
j think about it, skipping a meal = cutting down cals, NATURALLY YOU WILL LOSE WEIGHT
do you rlly need someone or spend so much $$ for someone to tell u to skip a meal?
I mean, not everyone in this 90days programme turns out like that but if u are one of them that becomes a stick-thin, that constantly looks sick, do u rlly feel good about yourself?
ok that’s a lot of negativity in 1 post.
I’m j thrashing it out here bcos i rlly genuinely believe that there is 👏 no 👏 short 👏 cut 👏 in 👏 life 👏
alrighto,
thats about it,
I hope everyone could starts small somewhere,
maybe 10k steps a day,
till then,

Having reflected on the 90-day weight loss program, I want to share some practical insights from my own experience with similar approaches. While short-term programs often promise quick results through meal replacements and carb cutting, the real challenge lies in what happens after those intense 90 days. From people I’ve known who have tried such regimens, rapid weight loss sometimes comes with unintended consequences like fatigue, mood swings, and a fragile appearance rather than vibrant health. The loss isn’t always just fat — significant muscle or water loss can occur, affecting overall wellness. Measuring success by just numbers on a scale or centimeters lost can overlook how sustainable and enjoyable the process truly is. In my journey towards maintaining a healthy weight, I found that gradual lifestyle changes—such as incorporating moderate daily exercise like walking 10,000 steps and balanced meals—led to more sustainable and less stressful outcomes. Programs that suggest skipping meals or replacing them with unapproved protein shakes felt too restrictive and didn’t resonate well with my body’s needs. Another aspect to consider is mental well-being. The pressure to constantly measure progress and compare with others can increase cortisol levels, impacting stress and long-term health. Celebrating small achievements and focusing on how you feel rather than just appearance often makes a bigger difference in building confidence. In conclusion, while some may benefit from structured short-term programs, it’s essential to critically assess their methods, sustainability, and personal fit. Instead of searching for shortcuts, patience and consistent healthy habits are key. If you’re considering a weight loss program, I recommend evaluating whether it enhances your well-being and aligns with long-term goals, rather than just quick results.
