Think of it as an edible spoon! Other popular Nigerian swallows include Eba (garri), Pounded Yam, Semolina, and Amala. When I'm cooking up a big batch, sometimes I even have two pots of okro soup going – one for a quick weekday meal and another simmering slowly for that perfect weekend feast with friends and family.
