venti apple chai latte nondairy
I tried this drink today for the first time, I love the chair latte with pumpkin so i thought let me try the apple, it’s not bad but not the best ! The pumpkin in my opinion is better but I am still enjoying this drink 😊💕
After seeing all the buzz, I finally gave Starbucks' Venti Nondairy Apple Chai Latte a try, and wow, it was an interesting experience! My go-to fall drink is usually the pumpkin chai, so I went into this with high hopes, curious if the apple version could steal its crown. The original post mentioned it was 'not bad but not the best,' and I completely resonate with that sentiment after my own sip. First off, let's talk about the flavor profile. I opted for the iced version (just like the one in the picture with the 'Ic Vt Ap Ndcf Cha' label!), and the initial taste was definitely apple-forward, almost like a spiced apple cider with a hint of chai. The chai spices, like cinnamon and cardamom, were there, but they felt a bit muted, playing a backseat to the apple. For someone who loves a strong, spicy chai, this might be a slight disappointment. I think the nondairy milk, while perfect for those of us avoiding dairy, can sometimes mellow out the spice notes a bit more than traditional milk might. I usually find that the creaminess of oat milk or almond milk blends beautifully with chai, but here, it seemed to really highlight the sweetness of the apple. Compared to the pumpkin chai, which has that rich, comforting, and undeniably 'fall' spice blend, the apple chai felt a little lighter and more fruity. It wasn't as decadent or complex as I usually crave in a fall latte. If you're looking for something that leans more towards a spiced apple juice with a creamy finish, this could be your jam. But if you're a purist for a robust, spicy chai, you might find yourself wishing for a bit more kick. One thing I always consider with Starbucks drinks is customization. If I were to order this nondairy apple chai latte again, I'd definitely ask for an extra pump of chai concentrate to boost those spicy notes. Or, perhaps a shot of espresso to turn it into a dirty apple chai latte for an extra layer of flavor and a caffeine kick. I also wonder if trying it hot instead of iced would bring out different nuances in the apple and chai, making it feel more like a cozy fall treat. The 'nondairy apple cream chai latte' is definitely a unique offering, and it's great to have options, but I think it needs a little tweaking to become a personal favorite. Overall, I'm glad I tried it! It's a decent fall drink, especially if you enjoy apple flavors. It’s perfect for a quick pick-me-up on the go, maybe even on the way to the grocery store like the image shows, holding that venti cup. But for now, my heart (and my taste buds) still belong to the pumpkin chai. Have any of you tried the Apple Chai Latte, nondairy or otherwise? What were your thoughts? Did you find any perfect customizations? I'd love to hear your recommendations!

that’s been my go to!
