Hi, I’m Des - your chic mom friend who still likes to be a little c⭐️nty.

Motherhood is a journey that transforms us in many ways, but it doesn't have to erase who we are as individuals. Like many moms, I’ve found there’s a fine line between embracing the role of 'mom' and maintaining my own personality and identity. It can be kinda c**t to be a mom and still want to rock a bikini or lift heavier than some husbands — but those desires are part of what keeps me feeling alive and confident. One thing I’ve realized is the importance of honesty with ourselves about what motherhood entails. It’s exhausting and challenging — nobody’s perfect at it. I’ve felt overwhelmed enough to run the dishwasher and laundry twice just because I didn’t feel like doing it once. Allowing myself that grace instead of chasing unrealistic Instagram-perfect craft projects helps me avoid burnout and cherish real moments with my kids. Putting myself first and asking for help when I’m drowning doesn’t make me any less of a mom; in fact, it helps me meet the demands of motherhood with more energy and love. Accepting that I can still want my body back, my identity back, and to be the hottest person in the room after pushing out three humans is empowering rather than selfish. It’s about owning every aspect of who I am. Being open about the hard parts of motherhood while still loving the life I've built has created a genuine and authentic mindset. It’s perfectly okay to share that journey online or with friends and find community with moms who get it. This kind of 'kinda chic' and real motherhood experience invites others to do the same — to be themselves unapologetically, even while raising their little humans. If you’re a mom struggling to reconcile your new identity with the old, know that preserving your individuality is not only possible but vital. Whether it’s fitness, fashion, or owning your quirks, embracing your unique motherhood style makes the journey richer and more fulfilling.
