I first read this book back in 2024, and with Jaquel J.'s next release on the horizon (Capone traditional release date 8/11/2026), I knew it was time for a reread. My plan is to read through the entire Delgado, Inferno, Caselli, and the rest of the crew’s stories before the next installment drops.
I'm happy to report that this book is just as good the second time around as it was the first. It absolutely lives up to the hype and had me completely hooked all over again. Jaquel J. has mastered creating interconnected stories that pull you in from the very first page. The characters are entertaining, unforgettable, and feel like old friends when you return to them. I'm so excited to experience this journey all over again.
