My Plants 🌱 🪴

4/8 Edited to

... Read moreTaking care of indoor plants has been a rewarding journey for me, especially as a beginner. One of the key strategies I've found helpful is using self-watering pots, which significantly reduce the stress of remembering to water regularly. These pots ensure my plants receive a steady amount of moisture, which is critical especially during busy weeks or when traveling. Over the years, I’ve learned that selecting the right plants for indoor environments is equally important. Some of my favorites are hardy varieties that tolerate a range of lighting conditions, making them perfect for those just starting out or those without ideal sunlight. Gradually adding new plants allowed me to learn each plant's specific needs without feeling overwhelmed. I also pay close attention to factors like humidity, temperature, and occasional feeding with fertilizers formulated for houseplants. Understanding these aspects helps my plants thrive for longer periods, as reflected by my oldest plant living for four years and counting. For anyone new to indoor gardening, I’d recommend starting with low-maintenance plants and investing in helpful tools like moisture meters or self-watering pots. This creates an environment where plants can flourish without demanding constant attention. Sharing experiences and tips with fellow plant enthusiasts can also provide valuable insights and motivation.

Beginner friendly plants 🪴
Here are some plants that are, in my opinion, super easy to care for! Easy to care for usually involves minimal effort from me to have a healthy plant! So minimal watering, minimal maintenance, not too much thought on light and aren’t a commonly recommended plant like a pothos or snake plant.
