... Read moreWhen designing or renovating a hotel room, the balance between aesthetics and practical use of space is crucial to delivering guest comfort and satisfaction. From personal experience visiting various boutique and high-end hotels, I’ve noticed that the optimal layout often hinges on how well the sleeping area coordinates with other functional zones such as the living room, bathroom, and workspaces. In the design inspiration featuring a king bed sized 1800x2000 mm, attention to spatial distribution stands out. Including a minibar and wardrobe close to the bed area adds convenience without cluttering the room. Equally important is the positioning of the bathroom and toilet areas, which should be accessible yet offer privacy. A multi-functional desk near the living room zone offers guests a comfortable working space, essential for business travelers. The addition of a balcony accessible from the living room or bedroom provides natural light and fresh air, enhancing the ambiance. Embracing such a layout not only improves the spatial experience but also allows flexibility in how guests use the room. From my stays, rooms that integrate architectural drawings effectively to maximize smaller square footage through smart zonal planning tend to receive better reviews. This underscores the importance of combining both architectural and interior design principles. For professionals supporting hotel design projects, paying close attention to these spatial elements can elevate the final outcome, making the space attractive yet affordable. Overall, this kind of spatial design and layout renovation respects the flow and functionality while maintaining an inviting atmosphere, which is a goal for any hotel room design.
