Lately, I felt like I wasn't discovering anything special, but this trip proved me wrong. I walked out with a basket full of incredible beauty and skincare gems, mostly from L.A. Colors, all for just $1.25 each. It's truly amazing what you can find if you know what to look for!
First up, let's talk about the L.A. Colors finds, because they were definitely the stars of my shopping trip. I managed to snag a few shades of their HYDRATING UNDER EYE CONCEALER. Seriously, for $1.25, the coverage is surprisingly good, and it doesn't settle into fine lines like some pricier options. It feels light and blends beautifully, leaving my under-eyes looking refreshed. I also found the FLAWLESS COU ROUG CONCEALER which offers even fuller coverage – perfect for those days you need a bit more perfecting power. These are absolute game-changers for a quick, everyday makeup routine.
Then there were the lips! I picked up a couple of their PLUMP GLOSS shades, and let me tell you, they deliver a gorgeous shine and a subtle tingling sensation that really does make your lips look a little fuller. My favorite was a clear one, but they also had some pretty tinted options. I even found a 2-IN-1 GLOSS & LIPSTICK which is super convenient for on-the-go touch-ups. And for defining features, the CONTOUR STICK was a pleasant surprise. It's creamy, easy to blend, and the shade I found (a nice cool-toned brown) is perfect for adding definition without looking muddy. I also spotted some B.pure foundation, which I'm excited to try next time!
Beyond makeup, Dollar Tree is becoming a secret weapon for affordable skincare. I was thrilled to find the BRAZILIAN MIST with NOTES OF PISTACHIO & SALTED CARAMEL. This body mist smells absolutely divine – it's a perfect dupe for a much more expensive brand, and it lingers beautifully throughout the day. It’s such a luxurious scent for so little money. Another practical find was the ACNE BLEMISH PATCHES. You get 6 patches in a pack, and they're fantastic for drawing out impurities overnight. They really do help pimples look smaller and flatter by morning. For anyone struggling with occasional breakouts, these are a must-have at this price point.
My eyes and nails also got a little treat! I picked up a few pairs of 3D FAUX MINK LASHES – they have such a variety from subtle to dramatic. The Spiky Long and Burlesque styles caught my eye, and they look so much more expensive than they are. With a little lash glue, these can really elevate a makeup look. And for nail care, I grabbed a bottle of CUTICLE OIL with Vitamins A & E, which is essential for keeping my nails healthy. I also saw some fun NAIL FLAKES for adding a little sparkle to a manicure.
While my focus was on beauty, I couldn't resist a few other fun finds. The CLOUDZ BUTTERY LIGHTS modeling dough looked like such a fun, sensory toy – perfect for unwinding or even as a little gift. It just goes to show that Dollar Tree truly has a bit of everything! My biggest tip for shopping at Dollar Tree for beauty is to always check the packaging and expiry dates, if applicable. Also, don't be afraid to try new brands or items; you might just discover your next holy grail product for an absolute steal. It’s all about the hunt, and the satisfaction of finding quality products that don't break the bank!
Overall, this Dollar Tree haul was a huge success. It just goes to show that you don't need to spend a fortune to feel good and look great. These little treasures from L.A. Colors and other brands prove that beauty on a budget is absolutely possible. I’m already excited for my next trip to see what other gems I can uncover!
is it Christmas again? 🥰
