Come train for a sprint triathlon with me!

My background:

I've been consistently weight training (3/4x/week) for about 2 1/2 years and have always avoided cardio. The most I would do was 10 mins on the stair master maybe once a week.

I've felt myself plateau in the gym and start to not enjoy it. I've never pushed myself for anything and a Triathalon was never something I would even entertain. Until I wanted to prove something to myself. So here I am, starting from almost zero cardio to a Sprint Triathalon. Follow along, thank you for being here.

It's ideal for those new to the sport, providing a shorter distance yet impactful experience. Training for a sprint triathlon involves gradually increasing your cardio capacity while incorporating strength training to maintain muscle mass. Aim for a balanced approach that includes swimming, biking, and running workouts each week to build endurance, speed, and comfort in each discipline. To kickstart your training, consider a flexible schedule that adapts to your energy levels and overall health. Incorporate rest days for recovery, and listen to your body to avoid injuries. Networking with fellow athletes can provide motivation, tips, and camaraderie, making the journey more enjoyable. Remember, consistency is key, and don't hesitate to adjust your training plan as needed to suit your progress and performance. Utilizing resources like training plans, professional coaching, or online forums can help refine your strategy. Embrace vulnerability by sharing your experiences, challenges, and successes, as this can build accountability and support within the triathlon community.
