i blacked out at Ulta and spent $80

Hello Friends!!

I am on a roll today, 2 posts woot woot!!

Well anyways, as the caption states I completely went way overboard at ulta today even though I was just going in to look if they carried Glow Recipe (they do not) and came out with 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 too many things 🙃 but whats done is done so here we go..

———————————————————————————

🤍Ultimate Skin Solution by Billie - $12.99 - This is an aftershave serum that is supposed to help with ingrown hairs, any bumps or roughness, and helps calm the skin after shaving. I picked this up because my skin has been reacting very negatively to shaving recently and figured I would give it a shot. I gave it a 6/10 based solely on first impressions. 1. I love the idea of it I am hoping I will love the outcome just as much. 2. I did test it out on my armpits after shaving them once I got home just to see what it does and its safe to say my armpits do feel smoother than normal. 3. with that being said, it did sting a bit putting on.

🤍Mini Batiste Dark Hair Dry Shampoo - $3.99 - As you can see, I already have the full size lol, so why did I spend money on the mini? Great question to answer that, why not? 1. Before trying out this dry shampoo I just figured I wasn’t a dry shampoo girly, well this dry shampoo said “Girl, you just havent found the right dry shampoo” and I am so glad I listened because this stuff is magical! 2. I am going on a trip in a couple months and I have been trying to get some minis in products I love to take with me! This dry shampoo is everything I have ever dreamed of, not only does it not leave the annoying white residue, my hair feels incredibly soft and clean after using, it gets its volume back and I dont feel like its on me. This product is such a solid product!

🤍Bubble Day Dream - $17 - Did I need this? No not really, but me and my girl CoPilot AI were just having a conversation about what I needed to be adding to my skincare routine. Which was Niacinamide and Vitamin C and lo and behold I came across this serum. Off of first impressions alone I am giving this product a 6/10 1. the packaging is adorable 2. I have never tried anything from Bubble before and I have been trying not to do too many brands as Im not sure how they will react with my other products but I am sure it wont be bad. 3. I put a bit on my face just to test it and it seems like a nice serum so I am excited to see if it will give me what I need!

🤍Kristin Ess Micellar Shampoo - $18 - Okay, my girl Kristin Ess has done it again, constantly making me fall in love with her. Its not enough that my “everyday” shampoo and conditioner are all her, or that my leave-in conditioner is her, or that I want every single one of her products, no she has to give me one of the absolute best clarifying shampoos I have ever tried! 1. I did use this today when I got home and it was just a wonderful experience, the tip of the bottle is to apply the shampoo directly onto the scalp it was so easy to apply. 2. This shampoo’s lather is unbeatable, thats all the girls want. 3. My hair was IMMEDIATELY soft after this. it is absolutely crazy how hydrated my hair felt after washing it. I haven’t really seen what my hair looks like afterwards but my hair feels clean and light.

🤍Maybelline Fit Me Concealer - $8.99 - This is one of my all time favorite makeup products, it is such a tried and true product for me. I will typically buy this in two shades to spot conceal over the summer. It is the perfect dupe for Nars Radiance and it offers such a nice light and buildable coverage. I love this product with all of my heart, I will never not recommend this concealer!

🤍Naturium The Perfect Salicylic Acid Body Wash - $19 - I did test this out as well in my shower, this product has little capsules that soak into your skin to leave your skin smooth. After my first use I can already tell some bumpy spots I had are starting to go down, I would rate this higher than an 8 but I am curious to see what this body wash can do for me. It is a very sensitive skin friendly product which I was very happy to learn.

... Read moreUlta Beauty has become a hub for beauty enthusiasts looking to find the latest skincare and makeup products. With a diverse range of brands available, it's easy to stumble upon treasures that can positively impact your daily routine. Of the items I purchased, the Ultimate Skin Solution by Billie aims to tackle tough issues like ingrown hairs and skin irritation. Combining soothing ingredients like aloe vera, this product has received positive feedback for calming the skin post-shaving. Meanwhile, Batiste’s Mini Dark Hair Dry Shampoo provides a quick refresh without the dreaded white residue, making it a staple for those who often rely on dry shampoos. The Bubble Day Dream serum caught my attention due to its key ingredients—Vitamin C and Niacinamide—which are renowned for promoting radiant, even skin tone. Additionally, the Kristin Ess Micellar Shampoo offers an exceptional cleanse that can help remove buildup while leaving the hair feeling hydrated. Maybelline's Fit Me Concealer continues to reign as a fan favorite for its versatile coverage and affordability, often compared favorably with high-end brands. Lastly, Naturium’s Salicylic Acid Body Wash is perfect for sensitive skin, featuring encapsulated ingredients that work wonders on rough patches. When shopping for beauty products at Ulta, always remember to check for mini sizes or travel options—these are not just cost-effective but also great for trying new products without committing to full sizes.
