Slides, letters tight, screens, listeners don't read?
Anyone who has to do a job slide or presentation should be familiar with this problem.
See you often, like
1) Copy paragraphs from the report and drop them in a whole slide. Small letters full screen.
2) Present anyway, the listener bent over to read the slides. No one listened to us speak.
3) It's 10 minutes of presentation time, but compress everything into 5 slides.
Slides that put every story on one page. The listener will bend over to read rather than listen to us speak. Pick a single point in front of the most important numbers makes it big. The rest of the details go to the next page or keep talking.
1) 1 Slide 1 Issue
2) Key numbers make it big
3) The rest split to another page.
Trick actually used
1) Before doing each page, ask if the audience remembers a single sentence. What do you want to remember? That's the point of the page.
2) Excerpted details Printed in the Notes box under the slide. When presented in Presenter View, you will only see us.
3) Master or Chief request a full table. Make an appendix slide at the end of the file. Do not press the main page.
