New FoodLion find!

Hey y’all! So I spotted these at the food kitty and I’ve never seen this flavor of Triscuit before! I love the sea salt flavor and saw these near check out and had to try! They are soooo good! I could eat them up in one sitting! I tried them with provolone cheese and apple on top…delicious.🤌🏻 I think next I’ll add some honey too! Trying to replicate the box lol. I also added a thin slice of butter and it was so good as well, also good as they are! Anyone else tried these? What do you think? And yes as the box says… I think these would be great for the holidays with some kind of dessert dip/spread.😋

... Read moreOkay, so you know how sometimes you stumble upon a new grocery store gem that just changes your snack game? That's exactly what happened to me with the Triscuit Cinnamon Brown Sugar crackers! I've been a loyal Triscuit fan for ages, especially their classic Sea Salt, but this new flavor? It’s a total game-changer. I saw them near the checkout, and the 'Cinnamon Brown Sugar' just whispered 'holiday magic' to me. And let me tell you, they delivered! First off, let's talk about the taste. It's this perfect balance of warm, comforting cinnamon and a subtle sweetness from the brown sugar, all on that perfectly crunchy, 100% whole grain wheat Triscuit base. It's not overly sweet, which is key, because it makes them incredibly versatile. You get that hearty, wholesome cracker feel, but then bam – a cozy, spiced flavor that just makes you want to curl up with a blanket. My initial thought was to replicate the box image with apple, cheese, and honey, and let me tell you, that combination is pure perfection. I used a thin slice of provolone, a crisp apple, and a drizzle of honey, and it was seriously a gourmet bite! But I didn't stop there. I've been experimenting, and here are a few other ways I've loved enjoying these: Cream Cheese & Fig Jam: The tanginess of cream cheese with the sweetness of fig jam is divine. Goat Cheese & Candied Pecans: For a more sophisticated bite, the creamy goat cheese with crunchy, sweet pecans on top of the cinnamon brown sugar cracker is *chef's kiss*. Nut Butter & Sliced Banana: A quick and easy breakfast or snack. The banana and nut butter complement the cinnamon perfectly. Chocolate Hazelnut Spread: If you're feeling indulgent, a dollop of Nutella (or similar) on these is surprisingly good. It's like a mini dessert! Plain with Coffee/Tea: Honestly, sometimes just munching on them with my morning coffee or an evening tea is enough. The subtle spice is so comforting. The box proudly states 'GREAT FOR THE HOLIDAYS,' and I couldn't agree more. Imagine these as part of a festive charcuterie board! Instead of just savory crackers, you'd have this sweet, spiced option that works beautifully with fruit, softer cheeses, and even some sweeter deli meats like prosciutto. You could even crush them up to make a unique crust for a cheesecake or a pie, or sprinkle them over a fruit crisp for extra crunch and flavor. I'm already envisioning little dessert dips – maybe a pumpkin spice cream cheese dip or a caramel apple dip – served with these crackers. They're such an easy way to elevate your holiday entertaining without much effort. What makes these Triscuit Cinnamon Brown Sugar crackers stand out is their ability to bridge the gap between sweet and savory. They aren't just a dessert cracker; they truly shine in both contexts. Finding them was a happy accident for me, and I've noticed they can sometimes be a seasonal or limited-edition item, so if you spot them, grab a box (or two!). I found mine at FoodLion, but keep an eye out at your local grocery store – they're usually in the cracker aisle or sometimes on an end cap with new products. Trust me, your taste buds will thank you! Have you tried these yet? What are your favorite ways to enjoy them? I'm always looking for new ideas, so drop your suggestions below! Happy snacking!
