TRAVEL IN STYLE- THE ESSENTIALS FOR FLYING ✈️
START DRESSING “nice” FOR THE AIRPORT. TRAVELING COMFY DOESNT MEAN TRAVELING IN SWEATS. (You never know while you’ll meet in an airport 😉)
BLUELIGHT GLASSES
• an absolute must when you’re gonna be watching a lot of screen time roll on your flight. I got these on Amazon and I get so many compliments on them. You can find some on Amazon for under $20 and they are totally worth it.
WATER CUP
• this is a Money saving tips. You can refill your own water jug at the airport versus spinning $12 for an Evian bottle lol. I highly recommend bringing your own, leave it empty through security, then fill it up once you get to your gate.
SHOES
• there is no need for fancy shoes here. We might be running to our gate or to a taxi. I always where my ON tennis shoes because I love how Cozzzzy they are. Close toed shoes are a must…
PERSONAL ITEM
• this is where you need to max out how big your item is. I love the weekender bag by Beis because it fits so much stuff in it. I highly recommend getting away from a backpack and getting a big gym bag or weekender bag like this.
BASICS
•eye mask- I got this plush I am ask off Amazon to shield out the sun. It’s perfect for taking a nap on a plane without the light from the window bright in your eyes.
•Beast- yes, I prefer these over AirPods. The noise cancellation in these is totally worth the price. I hardly hear any outside noises from the plane or from passengers.
•Hair clips- I always like to throw my hair behind. My ears are up in a ponytail, but I find that at least increase always. Hair clipper save my life so many times when I have something to do as soon as I land.

Okay, so you've already got some amazing tips for traveling in style and comfort with those blue light glasses, a water cup, comfy shoes, and a great personal item like the Beis weekender bag. Those are definitely on my list too! But over my years of navigating countless airport scenes, I've picked up a few more must-haves that truly elevate the travel experience, ensuring maximum comfort and convenience during flights. First, let's talk about layers for your airport outfit. While the original post suggests dressing "nice" and ditching the sweats, I take it a step further by always packing strategic layers. Temperatures can swing wildly from a chilly air-conditioned terminal to a warm plane cabin, or vice-versa. I usually start with a comfortable base layer, like a soft t-shirt, and add a lightweight cardigan or a stylish oversized scarf that can double as a blanket. On top of that, a cozy but chic jacket or hoodie is perfect. This way, I can easily adjust to any temperature, making sure I'm always comfortable without looking sloppy. And yes, my feet are always in practical footwear – comfortable, light-colored close-toed sneakers are a lifesaver, especially if I'm rushing to a gate! Next up, a portable charger is an absolute non-negotiable for me. In today's world, our phones are our boarding passes, entertainment hubs, and lifelines. Finding an available outlet at the airport can be a scavenger hunt, and onboard charging isn't always reliable. I always make sure my power bank is fully charged and tucked into my personal bag. It’s one of those essential travel items that often gets overlooked until you desperately need it, and it prevents so much unnecessary stress. Now, for feeling fresh: I swear by a mini freshen-up kit. After a long flight, nothing beats feeling a little refreshed before landing or heading straight to my next destination. My small pouch includes a travel-sized toothbrush and toothpaste, a mini deodorant, a hydrating face mist, and a small hand cream. Sometimes I even throw in a small hairbrush and a couple of those clear hair clips from the original article, just to tame any flyaways. It's amazing how much a quick refresh in the airplane bathroom can boost your mood and make you feel ready to tackle whatever comes next. It’s all about enhancing that comfort and convenience during flights. And for sustenance, beyond that fantastic money-saving tip of bringing a reusable water cup, I always pack smart snacks. Airport food is often overpriced and not always the healthiest. I love bringing a mix of nuts, a piece of fruit, granola bars, and maybe some crackers. They fit easily into my personal bag, helping me maximize my carry-on space, and ensure I have something to munch on if there are delays or if the meal service timing doesn't align with my hunger. It’s a simple way to save money and keep my energy levels up throughout the journey. Finally, for smooth sailing through security and immigration, I highly recommend a dedicated travel document organizer. I use a slim wallet or pouch specifically for my passport, boarding pass, any necessary visa documents, and local currency if I have it. Keeping everything in one easily accessible spot means no fumbling at security checkpoints or immigration lines. This small habit significantly reduces my stress and helps me move through the airport more efficiently. These added layers of preparation, combined with the stylish and essential travel items you mentioned, truly make a difference in creating a seamless and enjoyable travel experience.
