Which look? 💎 Asta Resort Dress

Howdy!!

So I’m traveling to St. Lucia next week and I’ve got three different looks here for the stress and I’m really really trying to get right! You know how you have that one big dinner and do you want to wear that perfect outfit for it? Well, this is my outfit for it lol and now I just need to pick out which purse and shoe combo goes best with it.

Look 1

💎 The Pearl bag and the mermaid necklace are so stinking cute! I love them, but I’m not sure if it makes this too casual looking. I just got this purse from Zara the other day and the shoes too! I know Joe has some silver in it, but I don’t mind mixed medals

Look 2

🪙 this diesel bag is one of my staple bags! It goes so perfectly with the silver shoes from JW Pei. Altogether, this really matches the silver in the dress but I think it might be too plain priced up with chunky silver earrings, but let me know your thoughts

Look 3

🌞 I actually got off Amazon! It is so stinking cute! It’s beaded and embellished and comes with a gold strap. The shoes I got off of REVOLVE they’re actually Jennifer Lopez. They’re not the comfiest walk around in, but you gotta admit these go well together! Definitely is, colorful and fits the bill for tropical, but you decide

... Read moreHey there, fellow fashion lovers! Since we're talking about rocking an Asta Resort Layla dress for a special trip like St. Lucia, I wanted to dive a bit deeper into what makes this dress such a showstopper and give you some extra tips for styling it, especially if you're eyeing clear heels or other fun accessories! First off, the Asta Resort Layla dress, whether it's the light blue sparkly mini dress like mine or another fabulous shade, has become a true icon for vacation wear and special events. Its shimmering fabric and flattering silhouette are just perfect for catching the light, whether you're under the St. Lucian sun or dancing the night away. When packing this gem, always remember to roll it carefully to avoid snags, as those sequins can be delicate! A garment bag is a lifesaver if you have one. Now, let's chat about extending its versatility beyond just one big dinner. For a more casual, yet still chic, daytime look in a tropical paradise, you could pair your Layla mini with flat embellished sandals and a woven straw mini bag. Think brunch by the beach or exploring a quaint town – still glamorous but comfortable. If you're heading to a sunset cocktail party, maybe swap out the strappy heels for a pair of elegant wedges, and carry a bolder orange beaded clutch or a cream textured clutch for a pop of color. And speaking of shoes, let's tackle the 'clear heels with white dress' query, which is totally relevant here because clear heels can work wonders with sparkly dresses too! While my dress isn't white, the principle is the same. Clear heels are fantastic because they essentially disappear, making your legs look longer and allowing the dress (or a vibrant orange strappy heels or gold strappy heels if you dare!) to be the absolute star. When choosing clear heels, look for comfortable straps and a sturdy block or stiletto heel. They're incredibly versatile and can elevate any outfit, from a simple white linen dress to a dazzling sparkly mini dress. Just remember to break them in a bit before your big night out! If you're thinking about metallic options, like the silver metallic clutch and silver mules I considered, they offer a sleek, modern vibe that perfectly complements the shimmer of the Layla dress. For a more eclectic, playful look, don't be afraid to mix metals or incorporate beaded accessories like the orange beaded clutch or even a multi-colored one. The key is to find accessories that not only match the dress but also reflect your personal style and the overall vibe of your trip. Ultimately, the Layla dress is all about making a statement with confidence. Whether you choose classic pairings or go bold with unexpected colors and textures, the most important thing is that you feel amazing in your chosen ensemble. Happy styling, and have an incredible time in St. Lucia!

I like the third outfit. The orange/coral gives it that pop of color and tropical feel.
