Reading Minds

When I heard this song for the first time, I gasped. This whole album, when it first came out, explained how I felt going through a divorce from someone who promised me everything and left me with nothing. I ached and hurt and felt my feelings but did what was best for me. I wouldn't change anything that happened, but sometimes it's hard to believe it did in the first place. I've never felt so validated like I did with this work that she's made. I felt seen in room full of people ignoring me.
