They're a cross between a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and a Poodle, which means they inherit the best traits from both! You get the Cavalier's loving, friendly disposition combined with the Poodle's intelligence and low-shedding coat. This makes them fantastic family pets, great with kids and other animals, and generally eager to please. My pup is always ready for a cuddle on the couch or a playful romp in the park. Speaking of car rides, if your Cavapoo is anything like mine, they'll thrive on new experiences. I’ve found that making car journeys a positive thing from a young age really helps. A comfy bed or booster seat, like the one she often enjoys, helps her feel secure while she takes in all the sights – trees rushing by, blue skies above. They also need a moderate amount of exercise – daily walks and some playtime are usually enough to keep them happy and healthy. They're smart cookies too, so positive reinforcement training works wonders. They pick up new tricks and commands quite quickly, which makes our walks and playtime even more fun.
