... Read moreMy family recently visited Dinosaur World in Plant City, and I have to say, it was an absolutely roaring good time! If you're local or just passing through Florida, and have little dino-enthusiasts in tow, this is definitely a spot to add to your list of #ThingsToDo. From the moment we arrived, the excitement was palpable. You can't miss the vibrant yellow Dinosaur World billboard that clearly marks the entrance, setting the tone for the adventure ahead. Once inside, we were immediately greeted by an impressive array of life-sized dinosaur sculptures. Walking through the lush, shaded pathways felt like a journey back to the prehistoric era. Each turn revealed another magnificent creature, from the towering Brachiosaurus to the fierce Velociraptors. My kids were absolutely thrilled to see so many different types, and it sparked endless conversations about what their favorite dinosaurs were. One of the biggest highlights was definitely spotting the enormous *T-Rex statue*. It's truly a sight to behold, standing majestically with its formidable teeth and powerful stance. We spent a good amount of time just marveling at its detail and snapping countless photos. Beyond just viewing the magnificent *dinosaur statues*, Dinosaur World offers some fantastic interactive activities designed specifically for kids. The fossil dig area was a huge hit, allowing them to unearth their own dinosaur bones, which made them feel like real paleontologists. There’s also a boneyard playground where they could burn off some energy, and a gem and fossil-panning station that added another layer of fun. For anyone planning a visit, I have a few tips to make your trip even better. We found that going in the morning helped us beat the afternoon heat, especially since many of the exhibits are outdoors. Wear comfortable shoes, as you'll be doing a fair bit of walking. And don't forget to bring plenty of water, especially on warmer days! While there are snack options available, packing a small picnic or some extra treats can be a good idea for families. They also have a gift shop where you can find unique souvenirs, but we focused more on the immersive experience of seeing the dinosaurs. Overall, Dinosaur World in Plant City is more than just a collection of statues; it's an educational and entertaining adventure that truly brings dinosaurs to life for all ages. It's hands down one of the best #kidplaces we've explored recently, offering a unique blend of nature, history, and pure childhood wonder. We left with tired feet but full hearts, already planning our next visit!
