5 People... Stay-Woke 💯
In life, it’s vital to be aware of the types of people you let into your personal space. From my experience, recognizing traits like using and manipulating others can save you a lot of emotional energy. One common type is the user—they love you only as long as you serve their needs. Once you stop giving, their interest fades. I learned this the hard way after constantly trying to please someone who never reciprocated genuine care. Then there’s the constant complainer, always unhappy yet unwilling to improve their situation. Spending time with them drains positivity because their mindset rarely shifts despite your advice or support. Blamers are another category. They avoid responsibility by making you feel guilty, twisting situations to escape accountability for their actions. This manipulation can harm your mental health if you’re not careful. Abuse is a severe but unfortunately common behavior in toxic relationships. When trust and loyalty are taken for granted, you might only realize the damage after the person leaves your life. Setting firm boundaries is crucial for self-preservation. Lastly, there are people who resist seeing your growth. They might pretend to support you but deep down don’t want you to become better than them. Surrounding yourself with genuinely uplifting people makes all the difference. Staying woke means recognizing these patterns and protecting yourself emotionally. It’s not about cutting people off harshly but about valuing your well-being and fostering relationships based on respect and mutual growth.
