Leaving Corporate Changed More Than My Career

One of the best decisions I’ve ever made was leaving a career that looked successful on paper.

I took a pay cut.

I started over.

I left a job many people would’ve kept.

And I’d do it again in a heartbeat.

I didn’t just find a new job—I found myself again.

Now I have the energy to read, work out, take lunch walks, spend time with family, and actually enjoy the life I’m building.

This isn’t about saying everyone should quit their job. It’s about knowing that if your work is costing you your mental health, your peace, or the things that make you you, it’s okay to dream about something different.

Life is too short to spend most of it unhappy. 🤍
