Healthy Girl Summer Without Giving Up Margaritas 🍹
Summer is my favorite season…and also the easiest time for me to fall completely out of my routine.
Between vacations, patio dinners, BBQs, beach days, and ice cream stops, it’s easy to feel like you have to choose between enjoying yourself and taking care of yourself.
This year I’m trying something different.
Instead of chasing perfection, I’m focusing on simple habits that help me feel my best while still saying yes to all the fun that summer brings.
This little checklist is basically the routine I’m trying to stick with—and honestly, it’s been so much easier than trying to “start over every Monday.”
What’s one healthy habit you refuse to give up during the summer?

Navigating summer without feeling off track can be challenging, but it’s definitely possible with a balanced approach. From my experience, focusing on a few key habits has dramatically helped me enjoy the summer festivities without the usual sluggishness or bloating that used to follow. First, hydration is absolutely essential. I make it a point to drink at least 64 ounces of water daily, which helps offset the dehydrating effects of summer activities and drinks like margaritas. Alongside water, incorporating nutrient-dense supplements like green synergy blends and energy fizzes can support digestion and provide sustained energy throughout the day. Physical movement is another cornerstone of my routine. Whether it’s a beach walk, yoga session, or an active dance party, moving my body for at least 30 minutes daily keeps my energy levels high and helps manage weight without feeling restrictive. Tracking steps with a goal of 7,500 or more feels achievable and motivating during busy summer days. Sleep hygiene also plays a huge role. Prioritizing 7+ hours of restful sleep resets my body, reduces inflammation, and sharpens mental focus, which is often compromised during summer excitement. To aid this, I avoid eating after 8 pm and wind down with a skincare routine and phone-free time, which promotes deeper relaxation. Lastly, the mindset shift away from perfection to balance has been key. Instead of labeling indulgences as "cheat days" or feeling guilty after patio cocktails and ice cream, I embrace them as part of summer joy. Then, I gently return to my supportive habits with the understanding that wellness is a journey, not a destination. By blending these practical habits with the essential joys of summer, like spicy margaritas and outings, you can maintain a healthy girl summer that truly feels good—both physically and mentally.
