6 weeks in & 6 pounds down ✨
Halfway there. 🥹💜
Week 6 of my 12-week transformation and I’m officially 6 pounds down!
But I think I’m even more excited about how normal this is starting to feel.
After vacation, getting back into my routine has felt SO good. I’m looking forward to my workouts, getting my steps in feels easier, and this week I’m experimenting with new high-protein meal prep recipes so I can keep finding meals that actually make me excited to eat healthy.
Six weeks ago, I was focused on seeing the number on the scale change.
Now I’m realizing the real goal is building a lifestyle that I don’t constantly feel like I need a break from.
And yes, seeing those 6 pounds finally come off after feeling stuck for so long feels pretty damn good too. 😂
6 weeks down. 6 pounds down. 6 weeks to go.
Let’s see what the second half can do. 💪✨

Reflecting on the first six weeks of my transformation journey, one thing that stands out is how much easier it becomes to integrate healthy habits into daily life when the focus shifts from short-term results to sustainable change. Initially, I was obsessed with the scale, craving visible pounds lost as a marker of success. However, as time went on, I realized that feeling better in my body—more energy, improved mood, and a routine that felt natural—was even more rewarding. One experiment that truly boosted my motivation was diving into high-protein meal prepping. Trying out new recipes helped me discover that eating healthy doesn’t have to be boring or bland. These meals not only satiate hunger but also support muscle recovery, especially on days packed with activity like hitting 10,000+ steps. Staying hydrated and prioritizing recovery have been game-changers too, helping avoid the burnout that often comes with extreme diets. Consistency, rather than extremes, has been the key to my progress. It’s empowering to understand that building a lifestyle I don’t need a break from means cultivating enjoyment and sustainability in my choices. This mindset shift has me excited for the final six weeks. If you’re on a similar journey, focusing on incremental changes—small wins like adding a protein-packed snack or walking a bit more each day—can set you up for big success. Remember, it’s not just about losing pounds, but about becoming stronger, healthier, and more connected to your best self.
