•THE YEAR WAS 2016•
In 2016 I…
-finished my last semester of Pastry Arts School
-worked (the worst) externship job ever LOL
-bought one of my dream cars (Red 2015 Mini Cooper S - I miss that car so much and I WILL own another Mini one day.)
-only read EIGHT books
It was a year of learning, growing, and finding more about myself and what I wanted out of life.
⭐️ What’s a good memory you have from 2016?
⭐️ Do you know how many books you read in 2016?
Looking back at 2016, it’s amazing how certain experiences can shape us in unexpected ways. Finishing Pastry Arts School must have been both challenging and rewarding—it’s a big step toward mastering a craft! Even though the externship job was tough, those kinds of experiences often teach us resilience and clarify what we do and don’t want in our careers. Owning a 2015 Mini Cooper S sounds like such a fun milestone. Cars can be more than just transportation; they often symbolize freedom and achievement. I understand missing that Mini—a beloved car can hold countless memories of drives, adventures, and personal moments. Planning to own another one someday is a great goal to look forward to. Though only eight books were read that year, the titles mentioned, including works by Ruta Sepetys and the collaborative Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff, suggest meaningful selections that likely offered both enjoyment and insight. Sometimes quality trumps quantity when it comes to reading. Personally, my 2016 stands out as a year of self-discovery. I focused on exploring new hobbies and prioritized learning how to balance work and life more effectively. Reflecting on your question about good memories from 2016, one of mine was traveling to a new city for the first time, which opened me up to new cultures and perspectives. As for books, I realized that keeping a reading journal helped me stay motivated and appreciate each read more deeply. In sum, 2016 for many of us was a formative year with a mix of accomplishments and lessons. Sharing memories and reflections like these not only helps us appreciate our paths but also inspires others to cherish their journeys and set new aspirations.

I can’t even remember all the books I read back in the day other than Harry Potter and the twilight saga
