I can NOT get over how much this sknbody spray help while dermaplaning! It was my first time using it but I will be using it again next month😊 my skin was so soft afterwards! This whole routine took less than a half hour and I finished this routine with a lightweight moisturizer. Additional Tips: Be sure to dermaplane on CLEAN/DRY skin only. I like to use a toner or hyaluronic acid moisurizer before hand after cleansing, and DO use a soft cloth to clean the face gently afterward, followed by a gentle moisturizer. I like the cetaphil because it doesn’t block my pores (I have combo skin).

Additional Tips: Did you know that shaving is also a form of exfoliation? 😱 And it’s important not to double exfoliate to avoid irritation so it is suggested to clean the face with a “clean” unscented soap or gentle cleansing balm with water using ONLY your fingertips👏🏼

This means your expensive products work even harder, giving you better results and that coveted smooth canvas for makeup application. Your foundation will glide on like a dream, I promise! For those of you new to dermaplaning or looking to refine your technique, here are some crucial tips. Always start with thoroughly cleansed and completely dry skin. I can't stress the dry part enough – any moisture can cause the blade to drag. Instead of just a quick wash, consider using a gentle, non-stripping cleanser, perhaps followed by a quick swipe of a balancing toner (alcohol-free, of course!) to ensure everything is pristine. When you're ready to start, hold the skin taut with one hand. This is SO important for a smooth, nick-free glide. Use your dermaplaning tool at a 45-degree angle, applying very light pressure with short, gentle strokes against the direction of hair growth. Remember, you're not trying to dig into your skin; you're just gently sweeping away the top layer. The SKNBODY spray I mentioned really helps create that perfect glide and preps the skin, making the process feel super comfortable and effective. Now, let's talk aftercare, because what you do after dermaplaning is just as important as the process itself. Your skin is fresh and temporarily more sensitive, so treat it with kindness!
