These are the things that I do to prep for back to school:

1. Make an evening and morning routine, this makes your life so much easier especially if you work or have morning classes

2. Meetings / Orientations are so important it is how you meet people in your program or get important knowledge on your major, school, or classes

3.Check your email, Check Your Email, CHECK YOUR EMAIL especially during the beginning of August and late July you are getting emails from professors and the school regarding important information like dorming, etc.

Starting with an evening routine that includes tasks like washing your face, making your bed, packing your backpack, and planning meals can help you wake up stress-free and prepared. Similarly, a morning routine that incorporates washing your face, eating breakfast, and applying sunscreen can mentally and physically prepare you for the day ahead. Attending meetings and orientations plays a vital role in academic success and social integration. These gatherings provide an opportunity to meet peers in your program, get vital updates about your major and courses, and learn about campus resources. Actively participating in these events can enhance your college experience and reduce first-day anxiety. Email management is another critical component of back to school prep. Checking your email diligently, especially from late July through early August, ensures you don’t miss essential communications such as dorm assignments, schedule updates, and professor announcements. Setting reminders or organizing emails into folders can help maintain order and prevent important messages from being overlooked. Additional tips include: preparing meals in advance to save time during busy days, setting a consistent sleep schedule to maintain focus and energy, and organizing academic materials for quick access. Incorporating these strategies will not only improve productivity but also help maintain a balanced student lifestyle throughout the semester.

Checking your email is so important. It is one of the best tips to give to people since it tends to be the one thing that slips people's mind
