- All the energy you give other people, take it back and use it on you! You can’t pour from an empty cup
Prioritize Your Health 🧘🏾♀️
- “Health is wealth” We hear this all time but this is the time to apply it to your life and take action. Eating whole foods will help nourish you so you are able to focus on your glow up without crashing. (occasional sweet treats too ofc 🥰🧁). Making it a goal to move your body everyday will help improve your mood and clear your head. Unfortunately they were right about waking up early and exercising… 😖
Surround Yourself With Likeminded People 🧘🏾♀️
- The people you surround yourself with says a lot about you. If the people around you don’t want better for themselves, eventually you will also become lazy and stagnant. People who are on the same journey as you will understand you more and you are able to keep each other accountable.
Discipline 🧘🏾♀️
- This is going to be the most important thing on your journey. You are going to lose motivation, we are human. But with discipline, you will get it done no matter how you feel. When you’re too tired to go to the gym, you will look past those emotions and listen to that little voice in your head saying “get up!”. Discipline is a skill that can apply to your life even outside of this glow up journey. Having discipline will also build your trust with yourself. It shows you that you can do anything you set your mind to.
Trust The Universe 🧘🏾♀️
- Throughout this process you need to believe in the universe. Your dream life is already done, why else would you have the feeling of wanting more? Your dream reality literally exists right now as you are reading this. The universe puts you on the track you were meant to be on. Trust the process. Some days are going to be hard and you still start getting impatient but take a deep breath and remind yourself that you have it already. Your manifestations are done and coming at you full speed. You need to position yourself and your mindset to receive them. Trust that they will come. Trust that the universe has your back because it does! You are attracting blessings everyday, it’s up to you to take them and do something with them.

... Read moreAlright, let's get real about this 'once you start seeing results you become addicted' thing – because it's absolutely true! I used to struggle with consistency, always starting strong with my glow up goals but then losing steam. But then something clicked, and I realized it's all about those small, tangible wins. That feeling? It's pure magic and it truly becomes an addiction, making you want to push further and become the 'New Year, New You' you dream of!
So, how do you get there? First, it’s about making those initial steps *visible*. When I began prioritizing my health, I didn't just say 'eat healthy.' I started with simple swaps, like making sure my breakfast included a healthy meal with eggs and sweet potato, or swapping sugary drinks for a refreshing green drink. I tracked my energy levels daily. Did I feel less sluggish after that nutritious meal? Did that morning walk really clear my head? Yes! Noticing these subtle improvements is the first step to getting hooked.
It's not just about a 'toned midsection' or a perfect facial, though those are amazing goals! It's also about the internal glow up. For me, that meant truly 'taking my energy back.' I started saying no to things that drained me and dedicating that time to myself, whether it was a quiet meditation or just reading a book. When I noticed my mood improve and my stress levels drop, that was a result! I even started a simple journal to jot down how I felt each day – a mood tracker, if you will. Seeing that graph trend upwards? Totally addictive!
Another powerful way to fuel this 'addiction' is to celebrate every single win, no matter how small. Did you stick to your workout plan for a week? Treat yourself to an extra-long sauna session. Did you finally declutter that one messy corner? Acknowledge that effort! These small celebrations reinforce the positive behavior and make your brain crave that feeling of accomplishment. Remember what the OCR said, 'Once you see results it becomes an addiction.' It's true because your brain releases those feel-good chemicals!
It's also crucial to redefine 'results.' Sometimes, it's not about losing x pounds but gaining x amount of energy, or feeling more confident in your skin. When I started seeing myself 'Be the woman I would look up to' in small ways – like confidently speaking up, or simply feeling strong after a workout – that was a major result. This mental shift transformed my journey. Don't underestimate the power of consistent discipline; it's the bridge to those results. Even when motivation wanes, discipline ensures you keep showing up, and that consistent effort will yield results.
So, if you're looking to 'Become Unrecognizable' in the best way possible for your 2025 glow up, start by making your efforts visible, tracking your internal and external wins, and celebrating every single step. Trust me, once you start feeling that positive momentum, you won't want to stop. That's the real secret to making your glow up truly addictive and sustainable!
