It also tricks your brain into perceiving time as moving faster. Also, during those moments when time drags, injecting a little humor into your routine — like watching a funny reel or sharing a work-life meme — can provide a refreshing mental break and boost your mood. The feeling of having had a "productive day then check the time" only to realize it’s early in the morning resonates with many. It happens when you might be deep in concentration or overwhelmed, which warps your perception of time passing. So if you ever feel stuck in this slow-time loop, remember that taking structured breaks, mixing light humor into your workday, and managing tasks in bite-sized portions can make the hours feel more manageable and even enjoyable.
