... Read moreI’ve always wondered about the rumors that Saizeriya uses microwave ovens to prepare their food. After dining there multiple times and observing their kitchen processes, I’m convinced these claims are myths. The staff uses traditional cooking methods such as frying and stovetop cooking, which explains the fresh flavors. What really stands out is how Saizeriya maintains the quality of their dishes despite the high volume of customers. The food isn’t rushed through a microwave to be served quickly; instead, it’s prepared carefully with fresh ingredients. For example, the clam spicy Wogolay, one of my favorites, shows evidence of precise cooking techniques that a microwave simply couldn’t replicate. One way I like to confirm this is by watching the chefs in action. They use typical kitchen tools like fryers, spatulas, and stovetops, reinforcing the fact that meals are cooked authentically. This approach not only preserves the flavor and texture of the food but also supports the claim that Saizeriya doesn’t microwave their dishes. If you’re ever skeptical, I recommend visiting a Saizeriya location and observing the cooking process yourself. You’ll see first-hand the care and effort involved which truly make their food special and microwave-free. This personal experience has made me a proud ambassador who happily defends their cooking methods against common misunderstandings.

as an ex-employee, they definitely do use microwave... for some foods only though. apart from that, my largest gripe is their lack of hygiene
