#365DaysofPRAYERANDPRAISE 🤍
When I first started my #365DaysofPRAYERANDPRAISE journey, certain verses really jumped out at me, and Romans 5:10 was definitely one of them. It says, "For since our friendship with God was restored by the death of his Son while we were still his enemies, we will certainly be saved through the life of his Son." Wow, right? This verse completely blew my mind because it challenges how we often think about earning God's favor. Before reading this, I sometimes felt like I had to be 'good enough' or do all the right things to be close to God. But Romans 5:10 paints a totally different picture. It tells us that while we were still sinners, still 'enemies' in a spiritual sense – meaning separated from God by our actions and nature – He didn't wait for us to clean ourselves up. Instead, He initiated the restoration of our friendship through the ultimate sacrifice: the death of His Son. For me, understanding this truly brought home the concept of grace. What does it mean to be 'saved through the life of his Son'? It's not just about the moment of salvation, but the ongoing power of Christ's resurrected life working in us. It means that because He lives, we live with a new purpose, a new hope, and a secure future. It’s a daily assurance that we are not just forgiven, but we are actively brought into a living, vibrant relationship with God. This isn't a one-time event; it's a continuous journey of being transformed by His presence. When I pray, remembering this verse helps me approach God with confidence, not fear, knowing that our friendship is already restored. Thinking about this verse makes my daily prayer and praise so much richer. It reminds me that every day is an opportunity to live in the fullness of that restored friendship. It’s a powerful foundation for understanding God's unwavering love and His plan for our salvation. This isn't just theological jargon; it’s a living truth that has deeply impacted my personal walk of faith and made my #365DaysofPRAYERANDPRAISE so much more meaningful. I hope sharing my thoughts on Romans 5:10 helps you deepen your own understanding and appreciation of God's incredible love too!
