This promise reassures me that God's love is not distant or impersonal but intimate and nurturing, like a true father's care toward his children. Every day, I try to become more aware of the ways God expresses His fatherly love—whether through answered prayers, gentle guidance, or moments of comfort during challenges. In my personal experience, embracing this promise has helped me cope with feelings of loneliness and uncertainty. Recognizing God as a real Father allows me to approach Him with confidence and openness, expecting Him to protect, discipline, and encourage me just as an earthly father would. I find that praying with the awareness of the 'Abba cry'—an intimate term for God meaning "Father"—creates a deeper connection, fostering trust and peace in my heart. Additionally, reflecting on this promise invites us to consider how we see ourselves as God’s children. It motivates me to listen more attentively for the Spirit’s voice, which reveals God’s ongoing presence in my daily life. Sometimes it’s in small, almost unnoticed ways when I feel guided or protected, and other times in life-changing revelations that realign my purpose. By sharing these insights, I hope to encourage others to meditate on Promise #38 and to grow in their understanding of God’s fathering love. This promise serves as a reminder that no matter our circumstances, we are deeply loved and cared for by the Lord Almighty, our true Father.
