#365DaysOfDeeplyRootedInChrist 🤍
In my personal journey of being deeply rooted in Christ, I’ve often found myself relating closely to the story of Martha and Mary in Luke 10:40-42. Much like Martha, I have experienced moments where worry and distractions tried to pull me away from what truly matters—my relationship with Christ. This passage reminds me that it’s easy to get caught up in the busyness of life and forget to pause and focus on the spiritual nourishment that only time with Jesus can provide. Choosing to be like Mary, who sat at Jesus' feet and listened, has transformed my daily walk. It’s not always easy—there are always tasks demanding our attention—but prioritizing that one thing, spending time in God’s presence and meditating on His word, brings a deep sense of peace that nothing else can offer. Being part of the #365DaysOfDeeplyRootedInChrist challenge has encouraged me to reflect daily and root myself in Scripture. It’s a commitment to pause amidst distractions and nourish the soul, just as Mary did. This experience has helped me grow spiritually and find balance. I encourage anyone feeling overwhelmed to take time daily for spiritual reflection; choosing this better part impacts all areas of life positively and permanently.
