I do my own manicure and nails using nails strips by Dashing Diva, Hey Hae, and Ohora brands. I just love Olive and June nail polishes. All under and less than $20 a set. Takes me about 45 minutes only because I do cuticle care otherwise it takes about 25 minutes to apply, cut, cure and file. #manicure #diynailset #nails

I’ve found that semi-cured gel nail strips, like the ones I use from brands such as Dashing Diva and Ohora, offer a perfect balance between durability and ease of application. The 34 semi-cured gel nail strips I use allow for a longer-lasting finish compared to traditional polishes, and they don’t require hours under a UV lamp like full gel manicures. In my experience, combining these strips with quality nail polishes like Olive and June enhances the overall look and health of my nails. I always make sure to take the time to care for my cuticles before applying the strips or polish; this adds to the polish adhesion and keeps nails looking neat and natural. It usually takes me about 45 minutes to complete the full process, but if I skip cuticle care, it’s around 25 minutes, making it a very manageable beauty routine. Using these DIY nail kits not only saves money but also lets you customize your manicures with a variety of colors and designs right at home. The affordable price point—under $20 a set—makes it accessible for anyone wanting to maintain stylish nails without salon visits. Plus, the convenience of curing and filing the strips yourself means you can refresh your nails whenever you want, keeping them fresh and fabulous. Overall, DIY nails with semi-cured gel nail strips are an excellent way to enjoy a professional-looking manicure with less hassle, great savings, and plenty of fun experimenting with styles. The key is good preparation, patience during application, and choosing the right products that fit your lifestyle and preferences.
