Body dysmorphia is real, and it can hit hard during your fitness journey. But you’re not alone, and there are ways to handle it:
️⃣ Shift the focus to performance: Instead of obsessing over how you look, track what your body can do. Celebrate hitting a new PR, running faster, or lifting heavier. Progress isn’t just about the mirror.
️⃣ Limit comparison: Social media can be a trap. Unfollow accounts that make you feel less than and fill your feed with people who inspire you to grow—not shrink.
️⃣ Practice gratitude: Write down 3 things your body does for you every day. It could be as simple as walking, breathing, or hugging someone you love. Gratitude rewires your mindset.
️⃣ Talk about it: Share your struggles with someone you trust —a coach, a friend, or even your audience. Vulnerability builds connection, and you might help someone else feel less alone.
️⃣ Be patient: Your body is a work in progress, just like your mind. Focus on consistent habits—training, nutrition, hydration—and trust the process. Your journey is about becoming the best version of YOU, not a copy of someone else.
