DETROIT, MICHIGAN - THE 313! WHAT UP DOE?
𝐃𝐄𝐓𝐑𝐎𝐈𝐓, 𝐌𝐈𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐆𝐀𝐍!!
𝗪𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐮𝐩 𝐃𝐨𝐞? Apparently that's a very distinct Detroit greeting which I picked up this past weekend!
Spent 48hrs in Detroit visiting a dear friend & she was kind enough to show me around town.
𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐎𝐧𝐞:
- The Spirit of Detroit monument
- "The Fist" - in honor of Joe Louis, the Boxer
- Spirit of Detroit Plaza - various activities take place & on Friday, they had a dance instructor teaching the crowd some dance moves
- Detriot Riverwalk - beautiful walking trail with ships docked close by & Canada right across from us. Also got to see the GM HQ.
𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐓𝐰𝐨:
- Fisher Building - Detroit's Largest Art Object since 1928. Beautiful architecture, houses several offices, stores, theaters & much more.
- Pure Detroit - located in the Fisher Building, perfect to grab Detroit Souvenirs.
- Belle Isle Aquarium
- Anna Scripps Whitcomb Conservatory
- Three Cedars Farm
Overall, I had a great time out there & can't wait to visit Detriot again.
