Morning Routine as a WFH Mom!!
My Morning Routine as a WFH Mom - mornings as you can imagine with 3 kids can be chaotic, but I try to squeeze in a little workout & some breakfast (if I'm in the mood for it) before logging in for the day.
What does your morning look like if you WFH?

Balancing motherhood and working from home is both challenging and rewarding. From personal experience, I find that establishing a flexible yet consistent morning routine makes a huge difference in maintaining my mental and physical well-being. Despite the chaos that comes with waking up three kids, I prioritize a short workout because it boosts my energy and focus throughout the day. I usually choose quick exercises like stretching or a 10-minute yoga session that doesn’t require special equipment and can be done in small pockets of time. Breakfast is another challenge. Some mornings I’m not very hungry, so I opt for light, nourishing options like smoothies or a piece of fruit. This helps me avoid getting too hungry before lunch while keeping my energy steady. I also involve my kids by preparing simple breakfast together when possible—it keeps them engaged and gives us quality bonding moments. To stay organized, I set boundaries for work time and mom time by creating a visual schedule that my kids can understand. It helps reduce interruptions and allows me to focus on virtual meetings without guilt. Lastly, asking for help when needed and embracing imperfection are key. Whether it’s delegating small chores or allowing screen time to keep the kids entertained briefly, these strategies help maintain balance and reduce stress. Overall, being a WFH mom requires adaptability, and a personalized morning routine is a great foundation to start the day positively and productively.
