ย้อนกลับไปในวันหนึ่งที่ตลาดปลาราชบุรี ผมได้เห็นปลาช่อนท้องแก่ตัวใหญ่ที่ตั้งใจจะซื้อไปปล่อยอย่างมาก ความรู้สึกระหว่างการช่วยชีวิตปลาตัวนั้นและเสียงร้องของปลาช่อนตัวผอมที่ถูกเลือกโดยผู้หญิงสูงวัยคนหนึ่ง ซึ่งผมไม่ได้ซื้อ ทำให้ผมตกใจและเศร้ามาก ยิ่งตระหนักถึงความสำคัญของทุกชีวิตที่มีหัวใจ ไม่ว่าเป็นมนุษย์หรือสัตว์ก็ตาม เหตุการณ์นี้เป็นจุดเริ่มต้นของโครงการไถ่ชีวิตสัตว์ทั้ง 4 ทิศ ที่ผมกับลูกศิษย์ตั้งใจช่วยกันเพื่อขยายผลไปทั่วประเทศ ลูกศิษย์แต่ละทิศจะนำเงินในบัญชีไถ่ชีวิตสัตว์ไปซื้อสัตว์หน้าเขียงที่กำลังจะถูกฆ่าในจังหวัดของตน แล้วถ่ายรูปแชร์ประสบการณ์ในกลุ่มธรรมะโลกทิพย์ เพื่อสร้างแรงบันดาลใจและความตระหนักรู้เรื่องความเมตตาต่อสัตว์ การทำกิจกรรมนี้นอกจากเป็นการช่วยเหลือชีวิตสัตว์แล้ว ยังเป็นการฝึกจิตใจให้รักและเคารพชีวิตมากขึ้น ทุกครั้งที่ซื้อปลาหรือสัตว์เพราะเจ็บปวดจากเสียงร้องหรือความน่าสงสาร ก็ช่วยให้เรารู้คุณค่าของชีวิตและปลอบใจจิตใจของตัวเองด้วย นอกจากนี้ยังมีความรู้สึกใกล้ชิดกับธรรมะและการปฏิบัติ ที่ไม่ใช่แค่คำสอนทั่วไป แต่เป็นการปฏิบัติผ่านการมีเมตตากรุณาอย่างแท้จริง สำหรับใครที่สนใจร่วมโครงการนี้ สามารถติดตามและร่วมอนุโมทนาบุญผ่านกลุ่มธรรมะโลกทิพย์หรือที่วัดแดงประชาราษฎร์ ซึ่งอาจารย์นนท์ผู้ซึ่งถือเป็นผู้มีอภิญญาระดับสูง คอยส่งเสริมงานนี้อยู่เบื้องหลัง เพื่อให้ทุกชีวิตได้รับโอกาสใหม่ ๆ และเพื่อสร้างสังคมที่มีความรัก ความเมตตาอย่างแท้จริง ผมเชื่อว่าโครงการไถ่ชีวิตสัตว์นี้ไม่เพียงช่วยเหลือเฉพาะชีวิตที่ถือว่า 'หน้าเขียง' แต่ยังช่วยเติมเต็มจิตใจของคนที่ได้ร่วมทำบุญ ทุกการอนุเคราะห์ล้วนเป็นพลังเล็ก ๆ ที่รวมกันสามารถสร้างการเปลี่ยนแปลงอย่างยิ่งใหญ่ในสังคมไทยและโลกใบนี้
