These are some habits I’m trying to get into before bed. Please tell me what I should add to this list!

I have terrible insomnia and usually don’t get quality sleep. I’ll be honest most nights I try one or two of these ideas and then end up scrolling on TikTok instead(I’m working on it okay!😅)

These are some things I’ve tried but if you have more suggestions to sleep better please share!

Incorporating magnesium supplements can be a game-changer, as magnesium plays a crucial role in regulating sleep. This mineral helps to relax muscles and calm the nervous system, which can enhance your sleep quality, especially if insomnia is an issue. Additionally, consider establishing a consistent bedtime routine. This might include taking a warm shower or bath, which can signal to your body that it's time to wind down. Entering a tranquil state can be further supported by reading a book or even watching ASMR videos, both of which can create a calming environment conducive to sleep. Limiting screen time before bed is another important element; instead of scrolling through social media, you could write in a journal or practice mindful meditation. Engaging your mind in a quiet and focused manner helps prepare your brain for rest. If you haven't already, integrating these strategies into your nightly routine can greatly contribute to your overall well-being. Remember, your sleep hygiene matters and sharing experiences with others facing similar challenges is valuable too!
