My first Visit to the a library in a new town 💝
After checking off visits to the utility company Home Depot and Trader Joe’s, I finally made it to my happy place
What’s the first place you visit in your new town?
Sonoma County Library: Central Library
There are several statues around the library including this one and a Snoopy statue (not shown) . I was so happy to find this cute little outdoor space because I love reading outdoors but hardly get the chance since I’m busy during the week.
They also had a donation station near the holds section where anyone can donate a jacket or take a jacket if they need one. And with this cold and rainy weather it is important need in the community. I love that community spaces that reflect community values.
I was able to find the holds section and pick up the following books:
📚 Vinyl Age: A Guide to Record Collecting Now by Max Brzezinski . The book finds ways to collect and evaluate vinyl records.
📖Booze and Vinyl: A Spirited Guide to Great Music and Mixed Drinks by André Darlington and Tenaya Darlington. This books describes different vinyl records and suggest cocktails that will pair perfectly with the record.
I been collecting vinyl records for the last year or so and wanted to learn more about it. I’m hoping that it has more information on how to take care of them better.
