✨ Special Editions I Got Recently

ASAP by Axie Oh (From Fairyloot) - Honestly I mostly got this because of the holographic effect on the title but the cover under the dust jacket is so so cute so that’s a plus!

Dial A For Aunties series by Jesse Q. Sutanto (from Illumicrate) - I’ve been wanting to pick up this series for awhile now and when I saw these Afterlight exclusive editions I was obsessed with the cover art on them! Also the edges are absolutely gorgeous 😍 I think these might be the prettiest books in my collection!

... Read moreOkay, fellow bookworms, let's talk about the details that make these special editions truly shine! I know many of you are curious about 'ASAP' by Axie Oh, and let me tell you, the Fairyloot special edition is absolutely breathtaking. First, that cover! The original post briefly mentioned the holographic effect, but seeing it in person is something else. The special edition dust jacket of 'ASAP' features an incredibly romantic scene: an illustrated couple taking a selfie on a rooftop at night with city lights in the background. The way the light catches the holographic, iridescent title text just adds another layer of magic. It's truly a cover that begs to be admired. And then, when you remove the dust jacket, the special edition cover of 'ASAP' by Axie Oh without its dust jacket reveals a different, equally beautiful illustration of a couple embraced amidst pink cherry blossoms under a crescent moon. It's such a thoughtful touch, giving you two stunning pieces of art in one book! Speaking of art, it’s no wonder people are searching for ASAP Axie Oh fanart! The vibrant and romantic imagery on these special editions, showcasing the characters in such tender moments, is absolutely inspiring for artists. I can totally see why readers would want to capture these scenes or imagine new ones. If you're looking for fanart, places like Instagram, Pinterest, or even dedicated fan communities often feature incredible interpretations of beloved books like 'ASAP'. The aesthetic is just so strong. Now, let's address a common query I've seen: the ASAP Axie Oh age rating. From my understanding and based on the themes and general young adult (YA) romance genre that Axie Oh often writes in, 'ASAP' is typically considered suitable for a Young Adult (YA) audience, generally ages 14 and up. It's a contemporary romance, often dealing with themes of first love, navigating relationships, and personal growth, which are characteristic of YA novels. While it's always good to check specific content warnings if you have concerns, you can generally expect a sweet and engaging story that fits well within the upper YA category. Axie Oh is known for her charming and heartfelt storytelling, making her books perfect for readers who enjoy sweet, low-angst romance. And of course, I can’t forget the Dial A For Aunties series by Jesse Q. Sutanto! While 'ASAP' has its unique charm, these books from Illumicrate are equally stunning. The three special edition dust jackets with their colorful illustrations of the aunties and main characters are pure joy. And just like with 'ASAP', the attention to detail continues on the actual hardcovers. The three special edition covers of the 'Dial A For Aunties' series without their dust jackets reveal unique illustrated scenes for each book. But what truly stole my heart were the vibrant, floral sprayed edges in green, pink, and purple hues! Holding them in my hand, showcasing their beauty, truly made me feel like I had something special. These are definitely books you'll want to display proudly on your shelves. So, whether you're eyeing 'ASAP' for its holographic allure or the 'Dial A For Aunties' series for its vibrant charm, these special editions are truly worth collecting!
