I’ve really been enjoying Aespa’s music this year! I think they have the ability to become one of the great K-pop girl groups! This album was incredible from top to bottom, a no-skip in my opinion. I loved the vibes as there was a little bit of everything that I love within K-Pop from R&B pop to hard-hitting bops! The production was wild and fit the style of these girls perfectly. I wish I had listened to this album earlier when it had come out. Needless to say I am incredibly excited to see Aespa in concert!

Here are my song rankings:

1. ‘Whiplash’ — Such a fun and catchy tune, the perfect Aespa title track as it has fit a lot of their other title tracks recently. The music video was insane!

2. ‘Flowers’ — Loved the message of this song and while it provided a little bit of a slow-down it was still banging.

3. ‘Kill It’— This could’ve easily been its own title track, such a bop!

4. ‘Pink Hoodie’ — Again, another fun up-beat song that would be great live… I’m already envisioning the choreo and an outfit inspo for the concert!

5. ‘Flights, Not Feelings’ — The lyrics and vocals were outstanding in this song!

6. ‘Just Another Girl’ — A beautiful up-tempo rock ballad with hard hitting and emotional lyrics. Love what this song was trying to say and I felt like the girls could relate to it.
