Bible Study for June 15 🌿: Walking in God’s Peace🫶
📖 Key Scripture:
Colossians 3:15 (NLT)
“And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful.”
✨ What it Means:
God’s peace isn’t just a feeling — it’s meant to rule in our hearts like a gentle guide. When life offers chaos or calm, we can let peace lead, not panic.
🔍 Let’s Break it Down:
• “Let the peace… rule” — You get to let peace lead. You don’t have to let stress win.
• “Live in peace” — Peace isn’t passive. It’s a way of living — choosing calm, unity, and trust daily.
• “Always be thankful” — Gratitude is peace’s best friend. The more we thank God, the more peace flows.
🪞 Let’s Reflect:
1. What has been ruling your heart lately — peace or pressure?
2. What’s one thing you can thank God for today?
✍️ Activity:
Write down:
“Today, I choose peace over panic. I choose gratitude over grumbling.”
Then thank God for 3 things — even the small stuff.
📖 Bonus Scripture to Read:
Romans 15:13 (NLT) — “I pray that God… will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him.”
🙏 Closing Prayer:
Jesus, I invite Your peace to rule my heart today. When pressure tries to take over, help me choose trust. When stress rises, help me pause and be thankful. I want to live led by peace. Amen.
