As to why we fell out

From personal experience, loving someone more than you're supposed to can create an imbalance in the relationship, where expectations and reality no longer align. The phrase "I always chose you first" resonates deeply because it captures the vulnerability of prioritizing someone else’s needs and feelings over your own, often without receiving the same in return. What I've learned over time is that loving too much sometimes means losing sight of self-care and boundaries. When that happens, misunderstandings and resentment can build, leading to distance and, eventually, falling out. However, this process can also be a catalyst for personal growth. Apologizing and recognizing one's own role in the fallout, like admitting "I’m better now & I’m sorry," shows maturity and the willingness to heal. Sharing these sentiments openly has helped me connect with others who have experienced similar situations. It’s important to remember that falling out doesn’t always mean the end—sometimes it’s a chance to heal, learn, and rebuild stronger connections or find peace within oneself. Embracing this difficult but relatable journey can ultimately lead to better emotional health and more balanced relationships in the future.
