🇹🇭A must-try experience in Bangkok! One-day legendary itinerary:‼️
Old Town + Muay Thai Stadium
We spent the whole afternoon exploring Song Wat Road, and it was honestly sooo good for walking around and taking photos‼️ If it’s your first time in Thailand and you don’t know where to go, just follow this route! There are also so many handsome guys and pretty girls here ☺️
In the evening, the Muay Thai fight at the stadium runs from 7pm to 10pm. If I remember correctly, there are about 8–10 matches, and even a women’s fight too! The live atmosphere, sound, and vibes were all AMAZING ✨🤘🕺😎 Highly recommended!! Also, this stadium is the world’s first Muay Thai stadium with over 80 years of history!
It’s only about a 13-minute drive from Song Wat Road 🚗 super close!

If you're visiting Bangkok for the first time, venturing beyond the usual tourist spots can truly enrich your travel experience. My day spent exploring Song Wat Road was a delightful revelation—it’s a charming blend of old-world vibes, street art, vintage buildings, and cozy cafes, making every corner incredibly photogenic. The area isn’t just a feast for the eyes but also a lively neighborhood where you can soak up authentic local Thai culture away from the bustling shopping malls that typically draw crowds. In the evening, heading to Rajadamnern Stadium to watch Muay Thai matches was an adrenaline-pumping highlight. This historic stadium has been hosting fights for over 80 years, earning its reputation as Thailand’s first Muay Thai arena. The atmosphere is unmatched—live sounds of the crowd, the thumping music, and the intensity of every punch thrown deliver a unique, immersive experience. Notably, the women’s fights showcase the fierce skill and determination of female fighters, adding another layer of excitement. Getting there is easy and quick—just about a 13-minute drive from Song Wat Road, which means you can enjoy a leisurely day followed by an electrifying night without feeling rushed. If you’re lucky, you might even catch some fun audience interactions or find yourself on the big screen! This itinerary perfectly balances a slow-paced stroll through Bangkok’s old town ambiance with a thrilling cultural spectacle of Muay Thai fighting. It’s a great alternative itinerary if you want to experience the real spirit of Bangkok. Plus, the ticket prices are reasonable considering the unforgettable experience you’ll have. Whether you’re a photography enthusiast, a culture seeker, or an adrenaline junkie, this one-day route offers a little something for every traveler.
