a love poem for you 🫶💐

the poem i wrote for my boyfriend who always brightens my day…

i have never met someone like him. i never thought i would find my other half- and it’d to be as clear as day that i have! he and i like to do everything together. he’s truly my best friend. we a team that’s gonna last forever🎮🎮

~~

He walks into a room, a room of endless flowers,

His eyes light up the sky, up to the highest towers,

His laughter fills the room, with that smile, That smile in which makes me feel great for a while.

With the saying of a joke, I make him laugh Just the perfect moment, for a photograph.

Those ocean eyes of yours will forever be

mine,

Until the gods above show me a sign.

A sign saying that we are not made to be, would be nothing short of wrong.

For you and I were made for thee, forever is not too long.

Therefore, the love for him is neverending, the love for him is true.

In the room of endless flowers, I will still always choose you.

~~

has the people of lemon8 found their person yet? if not i wish you luck on your endeavors..it will be worth it in the end🌞

... Read moreThere's something incredibly special about a love poem written from the heart. My own poem for my boyfriend always reminds me just how much he brightens my day, and the joy of sharing those words is unmatched. If you're dreaming of writing something that truly moves your partner, maybe even brings a tear to their eye (the good kind, of course!), then you're in the right place. It's all about pouring your genuine feelings onto the page. Crafting Words That Evoke Happy Tears When you want to write a love poem that really resonates and brings out those happy tears, it's not about grand, flowery language as much as it is about authenticity and specific details. Think about what makes your partner uniquely *them*. What are their quirks? What are those shared moments that only you two understand? For me, it was reflecting on how my boyfriend's laughter fills the room and how his eyes light me up. Instead of just saying 'I love you,' describe why you love them. Recall a special memory: the first time you met, a challenging moment you overcame together, or a simple, everyday act of kindness that touched your heart. Weave these personal anecdotes into your lines. This makes the poem uniquely yours and speaks directly to your shared history. It's these intimate details that connect deeply and often lead to those emotional, tearful responses. Don't be afraid to be vulnerable and sincere; that's where the true magic happens. Celebrating Your Unique 'Two People' Connection Many of us are looking for that 'two people poem' – a piece that truly captures the essence of a shared journey. My poem emphasizes that 'we' are a team, meant to last forever. When you're writing one, think about the dynamics of your partnership. Are you each other's rock? Do you complete each other's sentences? You could use metaphors inspired by nature, like two strong trees growing together or different flowers perfectly complementing each other. Imagine a sunflower's bright resilience alongside a delicate calla lily, or vibrant tulips and charming violets symbolizing distinct but beautiful aspects of your bond. It's about recognizing that combined strength and beauty that forms your unique universe. Celebrate the 'us' – the inside jokes, the unwavering support, the comfortable silence, and the dreams you build together. That's the heart of a powerful 'two people poem.' Making Your Love Poem a Beloved Keepsake Once you've poured your heart out and crafted your poem, how do you make it an enduring 'beloved poem'? The presentation can elevate it from just words on a page to a cherished keepsake. Instead of just a text message, consider handwriting it on beautiful paper. You could even create a small, personalized 'collage' around it, as I've seen some lovely examples do. Think about adding small, meaningful touches: press a flower from a significant date, attach a tiny photo of you two, or even a small drawing that symbolizes an inside joke. Imagine him finding it framed on his desk, tucked into his favorite book, or even surprising him by reading it aloud on a special occasion. These thoughtful gestures transform the poem into a tangible memory, ensuring it's reread and treasured for years to come, becoming a part of your shared story. The Profound Emotional Depth of Love While the term 'tragic love poems' exists, most of us want to articulate the profound joy, security, and unwavering commitment we feel. Even in the happiest love stories, there's immense emotional depth. It's the vulnerability you share, the trust you've built, and the feeling of having found your forever person that can bring tears of pure happiness and gratitude. My poem, for example, isn't tragic at all; it's about an eternal promise and choosing my person 'in the room of endless flowers.' It captures that 'forever is not too long' sentiment. Focus on the resilience of your love, the growth you've experienced, and the certainty of your future together. Highlighting these deep, positive emotions makes your poem powerfully moving, leaving a lasting impression that transcends fleeting words. So, don't hesitate to pick up a pen and let your heart guide you. Whether it's for an anniversary, a random Tuesday, or just because, a personal love poem is a gift like no other. It deepens your connection, creates beautiful memories, and reminds both of you of the incredible bond you share. Go on, create your own masterpiece – your partner (and your heart) will thank you for it!

A Poem for Soft Tummy Girls 🫀
It was believed that the most beautiful women, goddesses, were to have fuller figures and round faces. Look at any statue of Aphrodite and she has a tummy, round cheeks, and often a softer double chin 🫀 The goddess in the first slide was exactly that, a goddess, rolls and thighs, and all 🥰 #godd

A dark, surreal image depicts a woman kneeling, entangled in barbed wire, with a glowing broken heart in her chest. A shadowy puppeteer manipulates strings above her, while a shattered mirror reflects another woman walking away into a desolate cityscape, symbolizing betrayal and a lost self.
I read this poem, I can relate to it ❤️‍🩹🥀
Do not speak to me of kindness— I have worn it like a chain; Given hearts with open palms… Only to be fed back pain. I was soft where I should not have been, Loyal past the point of scars; I mistook manipulation For the gravity of stars. For I— Loved with everything I knew, A soul so
